Always a great read...love the time period and the author, Scarrow, takes you into it immediately. Would like to join his tours of roman sites in England someday. Know we would never be bored!

As usual great narrative but, I would never have killed off Julia..never!!! I mean why not end up the series on a positive note for poor Cato? And if it's the end of the series that is, as I'm still hoping that there's one last book!!!
